舊指同人生年干支相值之年。如某人壬戌年生，過(guò)六十年即可再遇。謂之本命年。一說(shuō)，以生年分十二屬，如生于子年屬鼠，生于丑年屬牛等，過(guò)十二年即可再遇，謂之本命年。 唐 白居易 《七年元日對(duì)酒》詩(shī)之四：“今朝 吳 與 洛 ，相憶亦欣然， 夢(mèng)得 君知否，俱過(guò)本命年。”自注：“余與 蘇州 劉郎中 同壬子歲，今年六十二?！币嗍》Q(chēng)“ 本命 ”。 宋 宋敏求 《春明退朝錄》卷下：“ 至道 二年十一月，司天冬官正 楊文鎰 建言：歷日，六十甲子外，更留二十年。 太宗 以謂支干相承，雖止於六十，本命之外，卻從一歲起首，并不見(jiàn)當(dāng)生紀(jì)年；若存兩周甲子，共成上壽之?dāng)?shù)，使期頤之人，猶見(jiàn)本年號(hào)?！?元 方回 《過(guò)白土市》詩(shī)：“丙寅小運(yùn)流年換，丁亥當(dāng)生本命過(guò)?！?/p>
