船頭和船尾的并稱。多泛指前后首尾相接的船?！稘h書·武帝紀(jì)》：“自 尋陽(yáng) 浮 江 ，親射蛟 江 中，獲之。舳艫千里，薄 樅陽(yáng) 而出。” 顏師古 注引 李斐 曰：“舳，船后持柂處也。艫，船前頭刺櫂處也。言其船多，前后相銜，千里不絶也。” 晉 郭璞 《江賦》：“舳艫相屬，萬(wàn)里連檣?！?明 梁辰魚 《浣紗記·謀吳》：“ 江 檣輳舳艫，海雉環(huán)樓櫓。”
